A Mimecast DMARC Analyzer alternative you can buy online, priced per domain

Mimecast DMARC Analyzer is a cloud service for DMARC setup, reporting and enforcement, owned by Mimecast since 2019 and run inside the Mimecast Administration Console. It publishes no price: it is quote-only with a 14-day trial, and the self-serve card plan was retired in 2023. Unspam reads DMARC aggregate reports on its Custom plan at $6 per domain per month, first domain included, bought online, and checks whether each domain can move to quarantine or reject. Both read aggregate reports and track sending sources; DMARC Analyzer adds DNS delegation, forensic reports, TLS reporting and managed services, while Unspam adds pre-send email testing.

Which one fits you?

choose Unspam if
  • You want to buy DMARC reporting online at a published price: $6 per domain per month, first domain included, with a $5 monthly minimum and no sales call
  • You don't run Mimecast and don't want a quote, an implementation item or a contract that fixes your domain count and data retention
  • You want reporting IPs grouped into named sending sources with a plain explanation of why each fails, plus an MCP server alongside the REST API
  • You also test campaigns before they send: spam score, seed-list inbox placement across 7 mailbox providers and client previews, in the same account
choose Mimecast DMARC Analyzer if
  • You want records hosted by DNS delegation: DMARC with the policy set from the console, SPF Delegation that resolves nested includes to allow more than 10 lookups, and DKIM delegation
  • You need forensic reports (once you add a PGP key), SMTP TLS reports, email alerts on compliance and DNS changes, and a task-based Workflow Manager that suggests when to move to the next policy
  • You already run Mimecast, or need enterprise terms: the Mimecast Administration Console with role-based access, regional data residency, an MSP partner program and optional managed services

Why teams move from Mimecast DMARC Analyzer to Unspam.

01

A price you can read, and a checkout

DMARC Analyzer has had no self-serve plan since its card plan was retired in 2023; every account now starts with a quote, and the licence fixes your domain count and retention. Unspam's DMARC monitoring is $6 per domain per month on the Custom plan, first domain included, bought online for up to 500 domains.

02

Built for a team that doesn't run Mimecast

DMARC Analyzer now runs inside the Mimecast Administration Console. Unspam needs one DNS record, which it generates or adds to your existing record without changing your policy, verifies automatically, and usually shows first reports 24 to 48 hours later.

03

Pre-send testing next to your reports

DMARC Analyzer has no spam score testing, inbox placement or previews. Unspam runs spam score tests, inbox placement across Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Zoho, ProtonMail, AOL and GMX, and client previews in the same account, priced per test.

What each one costs.

Mimecast publishes no price for DMARC Analyzer in any currency: the old dmarcanalyzer.com pricing page now redirects to the Mimecast homepage, and the vendor offers Get a Quote instead. Its public API shows that each licence carries a domain cap and a retention period, but the values are not published. Mimecast said the 2026 rebuild, DMARC Analyzer 2.0, came with no cost or SKU changes.

Unspam vs Mimecast DMARC Analyzer, answered.

Is Unspam a replacement for Mimecast DMARC Analyzer?
For reading aggregate reports, naming sending sources and deciding when to enforce, it can be: see Unspam's DMARC monitoring. It is not one if you use DMARC Analyzer's DNS delegation for DMARC, SPF or DKIM, its forensic or TLS reports, its alerts, or a Mimecast managed service. Unspam offers none of those.
What does DMARC Analyzer do that Unspam doesn't?
It hosts DMARC, SPF and DKIM through DNS delegation, with SPF Delegation allowing more than 10 lookups. It processes forensic reports once you add a PGP key, reports on SMTP TLS, sends email alerts on compliance thresholds and DNS changes, and runs a task-based Workflow Manager. It also offers managed services and an MSP partner program. Unspam reads aggregate reports only and has no alerts; it adds pre-send testing such as inbox placement.
How do the prices compare?
Mimecast publishes no price for DMARC Analyzer, so you need a quote, and the 14-day trial is the only free option. Unspam's DMARC monitoring is $6 per domain per month with the first domain included and a $5 monthly minimum: 3 domains cost $12/mo ($6 x 2) and 10 domains cost $54/mo ($6 x 9), with 15% off annual billing. See pricing.
How do I switch, or run both for a while?
If DMARC Analyzer hosts your DMARC record through delegation, publish your own record again before you leave; the DMARC record generator can build one. To run both, list two rua addresses, and keep Unspam's among the first two, since some receivers honor only two. Unspam can add its address to your existing record without changing the policy.

Add your first domain free and read your first reports in about two days.
