Cookie Policy.

You can review or change your cookie preferences at any time.
WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website owners.
We distinguish between first-party cookies (set directly by Unspam.email) and third-party cookies (set by external services we embed). Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others persist for a set period (persistent cookies).
HOW WE USE COOKIES
We group the cookies on this site into three categories. When you first visit our Service you will be asked for your consent via our cookie banner. You can review or change your preferences at any time using the button above.
Optional cookies stay off until you opt in, wherever you are visiting from. By default, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode in every region, so we can measure overall traffic without storing anything on your device. Turning on the Analytics category adds cookie-based measurement (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity); advertising cookies always stay off until you opt in. See Google Consent Mode and Your US privacy rights below.
1. STRICTLY NECESSARY
These cookies are required for the site to function. They cannot be disabled.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| unspam_consent | Unspam.email | Stores your cookie consent choice so the banner is not shown on every visit. | 6 months (if denied) / 1 year (if accepted) |
| unspam_geo | Unspam.email | Stores your approximate country (derived from your IP) so the cookie banner and Consent Mode defaults match your region's privacy rules. No precise location, and not used to track you. | 1 day |
| auth session cookies | Unspam.email | Maintains your login session. HTTP-only, not accessible to JavaScript. | Session or configurable |
| _GRECAPTCHA | Google LLC | Google reCAPTCHA bot-detection score used on registration and verification forms. | 6 months |
| HelpScout session cookies | Help Scout PBC | Maintains continuity within the support chat widget. | Session |
2. ANALYTICS
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. They are only set with your consent.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google LLC (Google Analytics) | Distinguishes unique users. Used to calculate visit, session, and campaign data. | 2 years |
| _ga_G-66R84D6161 | Google LLC (Google Analytics) | Persists session state for GA4. | 2 years |
| _gid | Google LLC (Google Analytics) | Distinguishes users within a 24-hour window. | 24 hours |
| _clck | Microsoft Corporation (Clarity) | Identifies a unique user and stores a user identifier for session recording and heatmap analysis. | 1 year |
| _clsk | Microsoft Corporation (Clarity) | Connects multiple page views by a user into a single Clarity session recording. | 1 day |
| MUID | Microsoft Corporation (Clarity) | Identifies unique web browsers visiting Microsoft sites and used by Clarity for user identification. | 1 year |
Plausible Analytics is also used for cookieless traffic measurement. It does not set any cookies and does not collect any personal data. No consent is required for Plausible.
Pulsetic (Designmodo Inc.) provides cookieless website performance and uptime monitoring. It measures real-user page load times and sets no cookies and stores no data on your device, so no consent is required. It does receive technical request data (such as the page URL and your IP address) to attribute performance measurements; see its privacy policy below.
3. MARKETING
These cookies enable advertising measurement, remarketing, and email personalisation. They are only set with your consent.
| Cookie / Signal | Provider | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Consent Mode signals | Google LLC | Advertising measurement and remarketing signals sent via Google Tag Manager when marketing consent is granted. No additional cookies are set unless you interact with Google Ads. | Session |
| sib_cuid and related | Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) | Identifies visitors to personalise email automation campaigns sent via Brevo. | Up to 1 year |

GOOGLE CONSENT MODE & REGIONAL DEFAULTS
We use Google Consent Mode v2. Your choice in the cookie banner is sent to Google as a consent signal, and our analytics and advertising tags adjust their behaviour accordingly. Advertising storage starts denied in every region until you opt in. Analytics storage defaults by region: in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland (and wherever your region cannot be determined) it starts denied, so Google Analytics runs cookieless until you opt in; in other regions it starts granted, and you can opt out at any time through the cookie banner or a Global Privacy Control signal.
Where analytics consent is denied, Google Analytics does not read or write the cookies listed above. It may still receive cookieless pings (no identifiers stored on your device), which Google uses to produce aggregated, modelled statistics. This lets us understand overall traffic trends without tracking you individually. When advertising consent is denied, no advertising identifiers are collected or shared.
GLOBAL PRIVACY CONTROL (GPC)
We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or an extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and both analytics and advertising cookies and signals are kept off automatically. You do not need to do anything else, even if you had previously allowed them.
YOUR US PRIVACY RIGHTS: DO NOT SELL OR SHARE
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar US state laws, you have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. Using analytics and advertising cookies can be considered a sale or sharing under these laws. We do not sell your personal information for money.
To exercise this right you can turn off the Analytics and Marketing categories in the cookie banner (reopen it any time with the "Manage cookie preferences" button at the top of this page) or enable a Global Privacy Control signal in your browser, which we honour automatically. Either stops the relevant cookies and signals. You may also contact us at dpo@unspam.email to make a request.
BROWSER-LEVEL CONTROLS
In addition to our consent tool, most browsers let you block or delete cookies directly. Blocking all cookies may prevent some parts of the site from working correctly. Refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
